3-Way turnouts are a great way to save space. Our 3-Way turnouts are overlapped in design, meaning one turnout is in front of the other as opposed to a symmetrical 3-Way. These turnouts require a little more time to build, but are not more difficult than other turnouts.
Stub Switch are the precursor to today’s modern turnouts. Stub switches are different from modern turnouts in that there were no moving points. Instead the routes were changed by actually moving the rails leading up to the turnout. The leading rails are physically warped to the turnout rails. Thus making the switch between rails. 3-Way allows switching between 3 output rails.
Crossings make for a stunning appearance in a layout. Building without a jig can be very difficult to get all the many angles exactly right. Our jigs help get the angles and tie placement correct the first time. This will insure a precise and trouble free crossing.
Dual Crossover fixture are an easy way for any modeler can build a great looking, and great performing complete dual crossover. In addition to being able to build both single, and dual crossovers, this fixture can also be used to build single turnouts.
Gauntlet Track is two parallel tracks are interlaced in to one roadbed. This allows two tracks to be laid in a single width roadbed saving space in tunnels or on bridges.
A curved switch is exactly like what it sounds. Two curved tracks routes of the switch curve in the same direction, with the inside route curving at a sharper radius. Curve turnouts can be a tremendous space saver on any railroad.
Both switches are shaped like an "X." On slip switches, trains can either cross the X or take one diverging route (upper left to lower left or upper right to lower right.) On a double slip switch, a crossing route or both diverging routes are options.
