Printed Circuit Board (PCB) ties are made from the same copper clad material used in fabricating electronic circuit boards. PCB ties allow quick construction of hand laid model railroad tracks by soldering stock rails, frogs, and guard rails in place to hold gauge. Our PCB ties are machined which allows ties to have a very clean edge, precise dimensions and are always perfectly flat. PCB ties can be cut to length with a razor saw, rail nippers, diagonal cutters, or a cutting disc on a motor tool. The PCB ties are soldered every fifth tie to hold gauge and with wood ties added to complete the trackwork.
PCB tie comes ten to a fret, 12-inch lengths to minimize waste as the ties are cut to match the various lengths needed.
We offer PCB ties TT, Z, N, Low Contour HO at .031 thickness. HO, S and O gauges ties at .062 thickness.
